Jan 7th 2026 Golden State Challenge Youth League

Golden state challenge
A 9-Week Competitive Series for Youth Shooters Starting January 7th. Develop your skills and compete for top honors in the Golden State Challenge Youth League. This 9-week series kicks off on January 7th, 2026, at 5:00 PM and runs every Wednesday through March 4th. Designed for all skill levels, the league features five competitive classes: Varsity, JV, IA, IE, and Rookie.
Each league night consists of 50 targets with an entry fee of $25 per night. To keep the competition fair and exciting, club shell rules apply, and 1st place winners in each class will receive a money clip with a cash prize. We understand schedules can be busy, so makeups are permitted for the first seven weeks of the league; however, no makeups will be allowed on the final day, March 4th.

Jan 10th 2026 New Year Kick Off Sporting Clays: NSCA Registered Shoot

Kick off 2026 at Golden State Shooting Center on January 10th. Start your competition year strong with our New Year Kick Off Sporting Clays event. This NSCA Registered shoot features a 100-target Saturday Main Event with two flight times (8:30 AM and 11:00 AM) and an entry fee of $93, which includes NSCA fees, a Saturday lunch, and $10 back to class.
Looking for more targets? We are offering three different 50-target Side Events including Super Sporting, Quick 50, and the Pro Challenge. Warm up with a 5-Stand round for only $10 and enjoy breakfast available starting at 7:30 AM.

Key Details for Shooters

  • Registration: Goes active on Scorechaser.com on December 30th, 2025.
  • Side Events: $46 entry fee per event with $5 back to class (minimum 3 shooters per squad).
  • Payment Note: All Lewis and Class options must be paid by cash or check.
  • Amenities: RV parking with water and electricity is available; golf carts are first-come, first-served via Scorechaser.
  • Lunch: Served Saturday from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM.

Join us for a two-day PITA Series Shoot in Rio Oso. This registered event follows PITA rules and offers cross-registration to the ATA. Competition starts at 9:30 AM both days, featuring Handicap and Doubles events across multiple classes with $40 to 1st place in each.
  • Registration: Pre-squad online at www.scoresR.com.
  • Fees: Daily fees include PITA ($4.00) and CSTA ($0.02).
  • Events: Includes Handicap (Events 2 & 6) and Doubles (Events 3 & 4).
  • Amenities: Breakfast and lunch available all day; RV camping is available by reservation.
